It’s okay to not have a dream. I don’t think not living your dream means you’ve failed at life. And I don’t think living your dream means you’ve succeeded either. Adults never accept it if we say we don't have a dream. Do we need to have one?
Adults never accept it if we say we don't have a dream. Do we need to have one? People only talk about getting a job. Did you just give up? How could you give up without even trying? So what if you don't win? What happens if you don't? Is it meaningless if you don't win? People must be losing something. But it has nothing to do with me. It's adult stuff. I'm just 18, too young to lose anything. The stuff I have can't be lost. For example, my dream and admiration. Everyone has the first day. But these things happen. Today is mine, so it'll be just for today. Technique and good sense are important, but familiarity can really help too. The times can easily take away your dream. Not just your dream. It can take away your money and even your family. Sometimes, it takes all three at once. Protecting your dream... Though your plan was wrong, you had the right idea. I always think about what I have lost. But you think about what you can gain. I want to try that too. You should enjoy this moment fully, and feel the full despair of it too. That way you can move on. Don't belittle your achievement. Finally, we've completed our midterm. Some of us must be satisfied, and some of us must be disappointed. What matter is that this midterm isn't going to shape our entire life. The time took everything from you. You can't give up on happiness. I can tell you'll do well, although you don't see it. Why should we get in trouble for training? Why must we be afraid to work hard? Well, I guess there are tiers even in effort although everyone endured the same. I don't believe that anything stays the same forever. Because believing in something like that sets expectations for how things should turn out. I heard that every tragedy in life is a comedy if you see it from afar. That means we have to live as if we're seeing ourselves from afar. I lost in so many matches. I couldn't let every day be tragic just because I lost every time. Laughing makes it easier to forget. You have to forget to move on. They will lose out on an opportunity if we limit our openings only to college graduates. I'm not sure what talent we could find in that pool. I don't get disappointed when my dreams don't come true. I'm used to losing and failing. Everyone wants to be as strong-minded as you. They don't want to be scared of losing and failing. You are by far the most experienced fencer when it comes to losing. Those losses were blocks to build yourself stairs leading up. Think about it. Now you have got the highest staircase. Take your time to climb it and take whatever you want. Sometimes, saying that we can do something can be more discouraging. We haven't learned about a world in which you don't have to do well and can fail. Still, let's do the most we can. Let's do our best. But I still hope that even if we fail, we'll be strong enough to get back up again. We have the strength to get back up again. So let's be as frustrated as we want when things are tough. Let's be as sad as we want. And let's get back up together. Even if we're not together, let's get back up together. I'll be your strength to help you back up again. Even if life gets tough, don't give up on the things you like. Live your life doing whatever you can whether it be success or failure. Find someone that inspires you to improve, just by being together. That is what a truly successful life is. It's only the gold I haven't won. Then I'll work on winning one. Your skills doesn’t improve consistently but in steps. Everyone told me to quit fencing. But I didn’t. Why? Because I still find it so much fun. It can be difficult but do your best to find happiness. I don't think not living your dream means you've failed at life. And I don't think living your dream means you've succeeded either. I simply want to do well at my job right now. You have to learn how to be flexible. You can't live in this world if you only know how to break. Remember today. Don't ever forget how you earned a new opportunity. Whenever you're having a hard time, remind yourself how difficult it was to start. Watch the fireworks. Life is long and fireworks are short.It’s a gamble to confess your feeling. You either get it all or lose it all.Sometimes being selfish can be the most considerate thing to do.Life is precious.
